Kurogane

Kurogane was a ninja of Ancient Japan and he was to protect Tomoyo and her castle. Obviously, by the look on his face, he loved to show off his skills. By doing so, he killed many thieves as well as some ninjas. Of course, he never smiled and he was pretty much like a loner. Tomoyo, his childhood friend, felt that he had been killing too many people so she sended him off to Yuuko, the dimensional witch. Even though Kurogane disliked the fact that Tomoyo had done this to him, he would always be loyal to her. His mission is to get back to his original world. 

Kurogane was the son of the Lord (a ward-protector miko) of Sura in Japan. He was outgoing, energetic, and happy as a child. His father inspired him to become a stronger warrior. He would always imitate his father's sword moves. However, his happy childhood didn't last for long. Kurogane ended up being a bodyguard for the Princess, Tomoyo. During his career, he had killed many people so Tomoyo put a curse on him: the more people he killed  (unnecessary deaths) the weaker he would become. Despite his cold exterior, he was a compassionate person and would protect his friends with all his might.
