How this site was born

   Before this site was opened, I was secretly obsessed with Cardcaptor Sakura back in February 2003. I was only in grade 8 then, but the animation, the characters, and plot had influenced me to continue to watch the series. The only downfall to it was that the English version of Cardcaptor Sakura completely destroyed the series. I had no idea about it until I came upon Cindy's Cardcaptors Cosmos. That beautiful fansite made me realize that there was a Japanese version of Cardcaptor Sakura. So, I dedicated most of my time in watching the entire series as well as reading the manga. I've always visited Cindy's fansite because it was, at that time, the most attractive, informative, and activities to do. Her fansite was (and will still remain to be) the sole reason why I've opened up a fansite of my own. I wanted to continue to spread the love of this series since it was quickly dying.

   I opened this site on April 4 2003. That was the day where I was first introduced to Geocities. There was a pagebuilder there for new webdesigners. Instead of going straight to HTML coding, I used the "click and drag" format. Day by day, I kept on learning new HTML codes and tricks. And all my learning had finally paid off. Look at where I am today.

   The site was inactive at first due to the horrifying graphics. Plus, I had very little info on the anime. So I decided to expand my site by putting in music and activities. Some webmasters, including Cindy, John, Yummy, Jeanette, and many others, helped me out with my website. I will never forget their help. Thank you guys very much for your continuous support.

   Why did I call this site Izzy's Cardcaptors? Due to my lack of creativity back in 2003, I wanted to make sure that people understand that this fansite belonged to me. Since I was deeply in love with Cardcaptor Sakura that time, I decided to stick in my nickname in the site name as well. The site title represents my love for Cardcaptor Sakura (and Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles)

    So, how did Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles bounced upon this website? I have heard of the new manga and anime since 2004. I began reading the mangas and became deeply infatuated by the drawings and the plotline. And since it features my favourite couple in the world, Sakura and Syaoran, it made me fall in love with the series quickly. After much consideration, I decided to add this series onto my fansite on December 2005, after the huge revamp.

   And now, I thank every visitor and fan of this website. Without their support, I would never been able to come this far with the hacking, stealing, and impostering. Let's hope we can make some more history for this site!
