Fujitaka is Sakura's wonderful and caring father. He is an archaeologist and a teacher at Towa University. Like Sonomi,  he is a single parent of two: Sakura and Touya. Nobody, but Sonomi and Nadeshiko's family, despises him ever since his marriage with his beloved. He still loves his dead wife, Nadeshiko, and would never fall in love with another woman. Fujitaka has many, many skills and he is especially athletic. Despite his wife's death, he tries his very best to support his family and works very hard in his job at the same time. He is a very dedicated father and would always find comfort from his dead wife because he knows that she is watching over the children from above.
